How Storefront by Models Boutique works, in detail.
What the app does
The app adds a curated catalogue of women's fashion to your Shopify store. You become an affiliate: the products are sold through your storefront, fulfilled by us, and you earn commission on every sale. You never buy or hold inventory.
Permissions
The app requests only read access to products. It cannot modify your store, your orders, or your customers. Product data is served read-only from our catalogue through Shopify's Storefront API.
The two ways to display the boutique
Theme block
A section you add inside your own theme through the theme editor (Add section → Apps → Models Boutique). It inherits your theme's header, footer, and fonts, so the boutique looks like a native part of your store. Place it on any page.
Storefront page
A complete, ready-made shop page served on your own domain at
yourstore.com/apps/boutique. Nothing to build or place — link
it from your navigation and it behaves like any other page of your site.
Colour themes
Choose from several colour presets in the app to match your brand. The storefront page and product tiles take their accent colour from your choice. Change it any time; the change is instant.
How commission works
- Every order placed through your boutique carries your affiliate code.
- Commission is calculated on paid, non-refunded orders at your rate.
- Refunded or unpaid orders do not earn commission.
- You see your earnings and every referred order in your affiliate dashboard.
Getting paid
Payouts are handled through Stripe Connect. You connect your bank once, through Stripe's secure onboarding — we never see your bank details. Your payment history is always visible in your dashboard. A minimum payout threshold may apply.
Fulfilment
Products are dropshipped. When a customer orders, we handle inventory, packing, and shipping. You are not involved in fulfilment — you focus on promoting your store.
Supported themes
The theme block works with any modern (Online Store 2.0) Shopify theme — which is every theme Shopify has shipped since 2021, and virtually all paid themes. The storefront page works with 100% of themes, since it's served independently of your theme.
Uninstalling
You can uninstall any time from your Shopify admin. The boutique stops appearing on your store, and your theme is left exactly as it was — the app never modifies your theme's own files. Commission earned before uninstalling remains payable.
Privacy & data
See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and how it's handled. We implement Shopify's mandatory data-request and deletion webhooks, and we never collect payment card numbers.
